Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 21, 2026
StatHall limits its use of cookies and similar technologies to the strict minimum. No third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Meta Pixel…), no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
1. Cookies set
| Cookie | Issuer | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
session | StatHall | SPA authentication, JWT token HttpOnly; Secure; SameSite=Strict | Session (sliding 7 days) | Strictly necessary |
statsapps.lang | StatHall | Remembers the user’s chosen language (localStorage, not an HTTP cookie) | Persistent local | Strictly necessary |
cf_clearance (if a Cloudflare Turnstile challenge fires) | Cloudflare | Proof of anti-bot challenge completion, cookie-free under normal conditions | ≤ 30 min | Strictly necessary |
None of these cookies requires prior consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (ePrivacy directive), as all are strictly necessary for the operation of the Service you requested.
2. No analytics cookies
StatHall uses no third-party analytics tool. Internal metrics (latency, error rate) are collected server-side without any user cookie. A self-hosted Plausible instance may be added to the public landing page; Plausible sets no cookie and uses no fingerprinting.
3. Lifetime and deletion
Strictly necessary cookies are automatically removed upon expiration or on logout. You may at any time:
- Delete the cookies already set through your browser settings
- Refuse strictly necessary cookies — in which case the Service cannot function (staying logged in becomes impossible).
4. Changes
Should a non-strictly-necessary cookie ever be added in the future (e.g. a server-side-persisted UI preference), an explicit consent banner will be put in place in compliance with the 2020 CNIL recommendations.
