1. Scope

These Terms of Sale govern subscription to the Pro plan of the StatHall service. The general Terms of Service (CGU) remain applicable to all usage.

2. Publisher

Service operated personally by Sébastien Soulier, French micro-entrepreneur under the French VAT franchise (art. 293 B of the French Tax Code) — no VAT is charged nor applicable.

  • SIRET: 10483848700015

3. Geographic scope

Sale of the Pro subscription is restricted to mainland France and French overseas territories in v2.0. Users outside France can continue to use the free tier.

4. Price and payment terms

  • Pro plan: €12 / month, all taxes included (no VAT applicable, art. 293 B of the French Tax Code).
  • Payment by credit card via Stripe Checkout.
  • Automatic monthly renewal unless cancelled.
  • No minimum commitment — cancellable at any time.

5. Right of withdrawal

Per article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer expressly acknowledges, when subscribing via Stripe Checkout, waiving the 14-day right of withdrawal since the Pro service is made available immediately.

6. Cancellation

The Pro plan may be cancelled at any time via the Stripe portal or via the Account > Subscription screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period (no prorated refund). A 7-day grace period applies post-cancellation before the data retention downgrade.

7. Backups and service commitment

  • Daily encrypted GPG backups, GFS retention (7 days + 4 weeks
    • 3 months), off-site copy (Hetzner Storage Box).
  • RPO (Recovery Point Objective): 24 hours.
  • RTO (Recovery Time Objective): best-effort < 48 hours.
  • Quarterly restoration tests documented.
  • No contractual SLA — the Service is provided “best-effort” by a solo individual publisher.

8. Liability cap

The Service is provided as-is, with no warranty beyond the publisher’s good-faith commitment. The publisher’s liability is capped at the amount paid by the Customer for the Pro subscription over the past 12 months. Indirect damages (loss of revenue, customers, etc.) are excluded.

9. Consumer mediator

Per articles L611-1 and following of the French Consumer Code, the Customer may resort free of charge to the mediator: [MEDIATOR NAME TO BE COMPLETED POST LEGAL REVIEW].

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
